Mike is part of the firm’s tax and consulting practice, Mike specializes in tax and advisory services for closely held entities and high net worth individuals. Prior to joining Garland, Williams and Associates, P.C. in 2014, he spent eleven years in financial services and commercial banking. Mike has a wide variety of industry experience in finance and accounting with clients in agriculture, manufacturing, and various service industries. His focus is to help clients with all aspects of their business including banking, loan packaging, business structure, sales and acquisitions, personal finances, as well as tax and estate planning. Mike graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the AICPA and Georgia Society of CPA’s. Mike is a board member of The Challenger League, an organization dedicated to providing social and sports activities to special needs children. He and his wife Heather have three children: Maddi, Wes, and Mercer.
